Main mission features
A private operator in Senegal considered submitting to CETUD a private initiative offer for the establishment of a car pound in Dakar, including:
- Vehicle repair interventions
- Towing and impoundment of immobilized, broken down or damaged vehicles present on the road, in accordance with regulations
- Repair and technical control of impounded vehicles
- The scrapping of vehicles in conditions respecting the environmental standards in force in Senegal.
Activities performed
On behalf of the private operator, Jade Advisory prepared a private initiative offer for the implementation of the project in PPP to the Executive Council of Urban Transport of Dakar (CETUD). The offer aims to demonstrate the value and feasibility of the project by providing an in-depth analysis of the different possible transaction structures, in particular the concession and the public payment PPP.
The offer included a necessary financial due diligence of the project, including its financial modeling, allowing to assess the financial viability of the project and to quantify the expected cash flows, the key financial indicators and the expected returns on investment, thus providing a vision detail of the profitability and financial sustainability of the project.
