Main mission features
The main objective of this project is to put the railway line between Kalâa Sghira and Kairouan (eastern section of the Line 11 – Barreau Est) back into service, thus offering goods and passenger transport services.
This initiative includes the rehabilitation of a railway section which extends over 51 kilometers from Kalâa Sghira to Sidi Amor Kenani and the construction of new infrastructure over 9 kilometers between Sidi Amor Kenani and Kairouan south, which represents an extension of the line to Kairouan. The total investment cost of the project is estimated at 494 MTD.
Activities performed
Jade Advisory has prepared a financial diagnosis and feasibility study of the PPP options with the aim of providing an in-depth analysis of the different possibilities for executing and operating the project.
Jade also developed the financial model and carried out a detailed comparative assessment between the different PPP options and traditional public procurement.
